  2. Presents anonymous credentials to remote servers

• NetworkService

  1. Limited access on local machine
  2. Enables service to authenticate to another computer on network (using machine account)

• LocalSystem

  1. Unlimited privileges on localmachine
  2. Authenticates as computer account to remote servers
